DETAILED DESCRIPTION Figure 1 shows a first embodiment of a cutting tool l0 with. a knife 'l, whose storage' and exchanged. drive 'with. a motor is not shown in the figure because these devices are accommodated an outer casing 70. carrying handle 80. within the outer casing 70 is provided with a In this embodiment, the motor (not shown) is assumed to be driven by a battery accommodated in a battery housing 60 mounted to the outer casing 70. In Figure 1, the knife 1 is arranged in a cutting preparation position, where it is raised, i.e. the cutting tool is in a state where it can receive a strip to be cut. The cutting tool also includes a cutting table. 2, which is intended to receive a strip to be cut by the knife 1. A stop 5 is arranged to form a strip abutment surface 55 which is substantially perpendicular to the extension surface 25 of the cutting table 2 so that in a cutting operation the strip should abut substantially flat on the cutting table and in contact with the stop 5. In the example shown, the stop 5 is read in a first position where the strip is intended. to be cut at an angle of 90 ° to its longitudinal extent. The stop 5 is secured in this position and is preferably adjustable to be arranged and secured to form different angles with the plane formed by the knife during the operation which is effected by cooperating with a cutting operation in 221, 222, 223, the cutting table. arranged angle adjusting means which here consist of holes or recesses in the cutting table 2.
The stop 5 is provided with a notch or recess 51 to enable passage of a rear part of the knife 1 during a stop. The stop can be designed in many ways and stop cutting operation. it is also possible to have a two-part which, however, needs to be connected in some way if angular installation means are to be arranged as shown in figure 1. Alternatively, if necessary. an unconnected two-part stop double sets of angular mounting means (not shown).
The cutting table 2 is provided with a longitudinal notch or recess 21 in a position corresponding to the position where the knife or an edge or cutting surface present on the knife will approach and finally be picked up during completion of a cutting operation. The notch or recess consists of, or is provided with, a strip of plastic or hard rubber that the knife goes against to reduce wear on the knife wall and the cutting table. To further reduce the risk of chipping and to facilitate the cutting operation, the cutting table is inclined downwards, outwards away from the recess 21 (not shown in this figure, reference is made to figure 6).
Figure 2 shows the cutting device according to figure 1 with the knife 1 in a rotated or lowered position, e.g. upon completion of cutting a strip (not shown) or in secured position. The figure shows how the knife wall. or the cutting surface is taken up in the groove 21. Figure 2 also shows operating means 53 for angular installation means 52 arranged on the stop 5. The function of these is more clearly illustrated in figure 3 and is based on the operating means 53 being gripped and the angle adjusting means 52 being raised, for example against spring action (not shown) . The angle adjusting means 52 may consist of a pin or the like, see Figure 3, which in the raised position allows the handle to be moved and made to assume different angles. In the desired angular position, the pin or the like is placed over the adjusting means of the cutting table, and under the action of a spring or the like the pin is lowered into a suitable heel, where it is secured either under the action of a spring or other reading means.
Figure 3 shows the cutting tool 10 according to Figures 1 and 2 but with the stop 5 set at a different cutting angle in that the pin 52 is inserted into, for example, heel 221 which in the figure is hidden by a schematically illustrated strip 100 which is in cutting position and the knife in cutting preparation (raised ) mode.
Figure 4 again shows the cutting tool 10 with the knife 1 in the open, raised, position before a cutting operation. Here the stop 5 is set to form a different angle and the pin (not shown here) is lowered into a heel in the cutting table (not visible), for example corresponding to the position shown in figure 9 (22¿).
Figure 5 shows the cutting tool 10 with the housing 70 disassembled, e.g. lift off. The housing 70 with or without battery housing part 60 can be connected, fixed or detachable, to the cutting table 2 etc. in different ways, by means of screws, snap elements, bolts or other suitable means. The battery case part 60 is designed to receive a battery 61, and can be attached to various means. the housing 70.
The battery housing part can alternatively be included in the housing 70 also called the outer housing, and consist of a lid or a cover for protecting the battery. The knife 1 is taken up in the folded-up position, before a cutting operation partially raised by a cutter 76 in a front part of the housing 70 so that the motor, drive wheels etc. are as well covered as possible for protection against penetrating dirt, moisture and for reducing the risk of damage. In Figure 5, the engine 6, which. is assumed to comprise the gear device 63, generally reference numeral 3, generally a reduction gear, which via link arm 73 which is rotatably mounted via a shaft 72 at, here, rear, upper part of the knife. 1, or more particularly a knife holder device 11, which at its lower, rear end, opposite the tip of the knife 1, is rotatably mounted about axis 71, parallel to the spreading or abutting surface of the cutting table.
Figure 6 shows the cutting tool 10 from the front. In the drive wheel 63, the stop 5 in the figure., The motor 6, such as. outwards from the recess or notch 21 on both sides, in particular the angle of the cutting table coincides with, or slightly exceeds, the dilform of the knife blade. In one embodiment the angle of the wedge shape of the knife wall is about 4 ° - 5 °, and the inclination of the table , for example, can be between 2 ° - 2.5 ° (on each side of the knife) Figure 6 illustrates ß as the angle between a horizontal plane and the inclination of the cutting table towards the respective outer edges. In this case the stop 5, the horizontal plane of the lower side on which of course does not have to be completely horizontal.
Of course, the angular indications are not given for limiting purposes, but can vary, and be slightly smaller or slightly larger, both the wedge shape of the knife wall and the inclination of the table, such as e.g. can be between 1 ° - 6 ° or smaller / larger. shows the cutting tool 10 with Figures 7 and 8, respectively, the outer casing removed. Figure 7 shows the cutting tool 10 with the knife 1 in the lowered position from the side. The stop 5 is arranged in a first angular position corresponding to 90 ° relative to the knife 1 and is locked in this position via the pin 52 and the actuator 53.
The stop 5 is assumed here to consist of a one-piece stop 10 with a recess (not shown) for receiving the rear end of the knife 1 in the lowered position and is formed by a stop base element 56.
The engine. 6 here comprises a gear device 'and. drive * via drive wheel 63 the knife 1. A link arm 73 is connected at one end by means of a shaft 74 (figure 8) to the drive wheel 63 and at its other end mounted connected by shaft 72 at the rear end of the knife or an upper spirit of a knife mounting device. Upon rotation of the drive wheel 1, the knife 1 will be rotated, rotated, about axis 71 about which it is mounted at the cutting table (or in connection therewith) between lowered (figure “7) and. folded up (figure 8) position. The gear unit shifts down the rotational frequency of the motor, for example from 5000 rpm to 2 rpm, which, however, should only be seen as exemplary indications. Figures 7 and 8, respectively, illustrate the abutment surface 25 of the cutting table 2 which slopes slightly outwards as described previously.
Figure * 9 is a top view of the cutting tool 10. The knife 1 is in the lowered position and the stop 5 is arranged in a position perpendicular to the knife. The two parts 5, 5 of the stop form a continuous unit or are held together via stop base element 56 under the rear part of the knife 1. The operating member 53 covers angle adjusting means 220 in the cutting table 2. Figure 9 also shows angle adjusting means 22_b. The number of holes in the cutting table can of course vary, it can be more or fewer. They can also be arranged in some other way or in other positions.
The stop 5 can also be designed in other ways, for example it can be two-part (not cohesive) in which case a double set of angle-adjusting means on both sides of the table is required. Of course, there are many other alternative ways in which the stop can be fixed at the desired angle within the scope of the present invention. Figure 10 shows an alternative embodiment of a cutting tool 20 comprising a knife 1B, cutting table 2B, outer casing 70B which here comprises a handle 81B located between a part 60B of the casing 70B as associated battery casing part 60B, encloses the motor 6B and a battery in one and. a part 80B as. encloses the gear device 3B with drive wheels, link arm 73B mounted here, 72B, at the rear, upper end of the knife so that it can be caused to rotate about the bearing shaft 71B connected to, or included in, the cutting table. The stop 5B is set in figure 10 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the knife, which is schematically illustrated. Although in this embodiment the cutting tool 20 is to be clearly cable, a battery-powered motor comprises that the motor may, as an alternative, be mains-supplied as shown in Figure 11 which shows a third embodiment of a cutting tool '30 where the motor is intended. to be electrically driven via a cable 17 with a plug 18.
The cutting tool 30 (shown with the cover removed) is similar to the cutting tool 10. an outer casing 70C with. a handle 81C arranged thereon, which in this embodiment is instead arranged. The cutting table 2C essentially corresponds to reference to 222, 223 in which a perpendicular to the knife 1. the cutting table 2 as described in Figures 1-9 with angle adjusting means 22U (not shown) connected to operating means The elements which correspond to the elements described with reference to previous figures are provided with the same reference numerals but with index C. are varied in a number of ways within the scope of the invention. In particular, the table can take many different shapes as well as the knife. The stop can also have a different shape and be arranged in different ways and different types of angle adjusting means can be used. Of course, the outer casing with grip part or handle can also be designed in many different ways, the essential thing is that it is a motor-driven barbaric hand tool with which strips can be cut at the desired angle without chips, shavings, etc. formed. An advantage of. The cutting tool is that it is easy to handle, easy to carry, that cutting can take place quickly and easily without scraping, and can be performed wherever a cutting operation needs to be performed, regardless of whether the spaces where cutting is to take place are cramped, furnished and normally used. In an advantageous design, there is a cable connection as an option to run the engine with a battery. The invention can also be varied in a number of different ways.
